Job targeting

Job targeting generates a version of your CV adapted to one specific job offer. Clavis Talent analyzes the role's exact requirements, calculates a fit score, then rewrites your CV to match what the recruiter is looking for.

How it works

From your dashboard, go to CV → Target a job.

Select the base CV to adapt (or start from a new one).

You choose to continue. A low score shows a warning, without blocking you.

You confirm, Clavis Talent generates the targeted CV, downloadable as PDF or DOCX.

The fit score

This percentage measures how well your current profile matches the offer's requirements. It's based on:

  • Technical skills: tools and skills mentioned in the offer vs. your CV
  • Soft skills and keywords: phrasing from the offer found in your text
  • Experience level: years required vs. your background
  • Education: degrees required vs. what you have

A score below 50% triggers a warning before generation. You can still continue: it's information, not a block.

What changes in the targeted CV

Clavis Talent rewrites your existing CV. It never adds experience you don't have:

  • Bullets rephrased to reflect the offer's vocabulary and priorities
  • Skills section updated to surface the relevant keywords from your profile
  • Profile/summary rewritten to speak directly to the targeted role
  • Section order adjusted to what the role emphasizes

Your factual information (titles, dates, companies, education) is never changed.

Compatible job offers

Clavis Talent can extract data from LinkedIn Jobs, Indeed, Welcome to the Jungle, Glassdoor, Jobteaser, and most sites that display their offers as a public web page.

If a URL can't be extracted automatically, you can paste the offer's text directly into the field provided.

Credits

Each targeted CV counts as an application: it uses 1 application credit, taken when generation starts and given back if it fails. See Plans & billing for the applications included in your plan and the packs.
