Features
Interview coach
The interview coach lets you practice realistic mock interviews with an AI that acts as a senior recruiter. After each session, you receive a scored report with strengths, weaknesses, and a structured improvement plan.
Phase 2 feature. The interview coach is available on Starter plan and above. If you're on the Free plan, you can preview the interface but sessions require an upgrade.
Session types
There are three interview modes:
- Quick (15 min) — 5 core interview questions. Good for a fast warm-up or when you have limited time. Covers motivation, key experience, and one situational question.
- Full (45 min) — Complete mock interview with 12–15 questions. Covers behavioural, situational, competency-based, and closing questions. Closest to a real recruiter phone screen.
- Job-targeted — Questions generated from a specific job posting. Requires you to select a job-targeted CV. The AI focuses on the competencies and keywords in that exact role.
How a session works
- Go to Interview coach in your dashboard and select a mode.
- For job-targeted mode, select the relevant CV and job.
- The session starts. The AI asks questions one at a time.
- You respond by typing or using voice input (microphone required for voice).
- The AI may ask follow-up questions based on your answers.
- When the session ends, your report is generated automatically.
Your session report
After each session you receive:
- Overall score (0–100) — a composite of communication clarity, content quality, and confidence signals
- Per-answer feedback — what worked, what to cut, what to add
- Strengths summary — the 2–3 things you did well
- Weaknesses summary — the specific areas holding your score down
- Improvement plan — structured advice covering what to say, how to say it, what to avoid, and how to present yourself in each weak area
Tips for a realistic session
- Treat each question as if you're on a real call — don't edit your answers after submitting them
- Use the job-targeted mode for roles you're actively interviewing for
- Do a full session at least 48 hours before a real interview to have time to act on the feedback
- Repeat sessions: your score history is saved in your dashboard so you can track improvement
Quotas
Each session type uses one quota credit: quick interview, full interview, or targeted interview. See Plans & billing for your plan's limits.
