Job bank and assisted application
The job bank brings together thousands of job offers, ranked for your profile. For each one, Clavis prepares your application: tailored CV, cover letter and answers to the employer’s form, ready to send.
Finding jobs
Jobs come from company career sites, Indeed, LinkedIn, Rekrute and recruiters who post directly on Clavis. They are updated every day.
- Search: type a job title or a company.
- More filters: country, city, contract type, remote work, how to apply, and sorting (by default, the best matches for your profile first).
- Quick filters: apply by email, no account to create, 60% match or more, jobs posted this week.
Reading a job card
Each card sums up what to know before applying:
Match score
The ring shows how closely the job matches your profile: green, close; orange, partial; grey, low. Complete your profile for a more accurate score.
Why
The skills and roles from your profile found in the job.
How to apply
Clavis job (everything happens here), email to the recruiter, online form, employer site, LinkedIn or Indeed.
Account required
Shows whether the site asks for an account (Rekrute, employer site, LinkedIn, Indeed) or whether you can apply without one.
Experience asked
The experience asked compared with yours: green if you have it, orange if you are below.
Clavis job
Posted directly by a recruiter on Clavis: free application, sent to their workspace in one click.
Already prepared on…
You already prepared an application for this job. Preparing it again uses 1 credit. A Clavis job is prepared once: you resume the one already prepared.
Preparing an application
On the card, click Prepare my application.
Choose the source: your profile (recommended) or one of your saved CVs.
Click Prepare my file. Clavis checks the job for free and, if needed, shows the check screen (see below).
Clavis reads the job, tailors your CV and writes the letter in the job’s language. This is when the credit is used.
Choose your CV template and download it: this step is required before sending.
Apply: paste your details into the employer’s form, send by email, or send in one click for a Clavis job.
The check screen
Before using a credit, Clavis checks the job. The check screen only appears when there is something to know before paying:
- the job could not be verified (it may have expired);
- the form asks questions that can rule you out (years of experience, visa, degree, salary, location), compared with your profile;
- Clavis read the questions of the employer’s form.
To read these questions, Clavis follows the application path as you would: form on the page, “Apply” button, “with or without CV” choice page. Questions are read exactly as the employer wrote them, never made up.
If the job has expired, no credit is used.
The final screen
Your application is ready. Everything copies in one click:
- Fields: your details for the form (identity, phone, salary, notice period…).
- Questions: your answers to the employer’s questions, written from your profile. An answer your profile cannot support is marked to confirm.
- CV and Letter: the texts tailored to the job.
- Send by email: when the job has a recruiter email, your application is sent from your Gmail (connect it once in Settings).
- I applied: the application moves to My applications, with a follow-up reminder.
LinkedIn jobs that send you to the employer
Some LinkedIn jobs send you to the employer’s site. LinkedIn only shows that link to signed-in members: on the final screen, paste the link of the page that opens when you click “Apply” on LinkedIn. Clavis then reads the form and prepares your answers.
It is optional: without the link, your CV, letter and usual answers are still ready.
Clavis jobs
Jobs posted by recruiters on Clavis appear first, with the Clavis job badge. Applying is free and happens entirely in Clavis:
Click Apply (free) then Prepare my file.
Review your CV and letter, and choose your CV template.
Click Send my application: it goes straight to the recruiter and My applications is updated. If you send again, the new application replaces the previous one.
Credits
- 1 credit per prepared application, used when the preparation starts.
- Given back automatically if the preparation fails before your CV is created.
- Preparing the same job again uses 1 credit, after a warning.
- Emailing the same recruiter again uses 1 credit (given back if sending fails). The first send is included.
- Clavis jobs: free, one preparation per job.
- No application left? Offers you have not prepared yet are locked (preparation and link to the posting). Move to a plan or get a pack to continue. Offers already prepared and Clavis offers stay open.
Plans and credit packs: see Plans & billing.
Limits
- Some sites require an account (Rekrute, Workday, company sites): Clavis tells you, sign in and paste your details.
- Some forms only render in a browser: Clavis cannot read their questions, but your CV, letter and usual answers are still ready.
- LinkedIn Easy Apply and Indeed Apply are filled on their own site, with your account.
On employer sites, Clavis never applies for you: you review and send it yourself.
